Generation Loss: The Social Experiments: The Founders Cut is the director's cut^:6:20 of The Social Experiments, the first release of Generation Loss, and was released on June 15, 2024. It was written by Ranboo and Keenan Mosimann, produced by JK Productions and Ghost Commander and features an original soundtrack created by Nathan Hanover.

It combines all three broadcasted episodes, The Spirit of The Cabin, The Mastermind of The Warehouse, and The Choice. The purpose of the release is to make the story clearer^:6:00. It has new camera angles, new and remastered voice lines^:6:20, and an entirely new scene. The majority of the film focuses on Episode 3: The Choice^:7:56.

Teasers

A teaser was released on May 29, 2023, titled A Message From The Founder. An update on the progress and runtime was posted on October 27, 2023. Another teaser, titled Coming_Soon, was released on February 7, 2024. A final teaser, titled Again., was posted on May 28, 2024 and announced the June 15 release date.

To tease the release, blueprint images of the main props used by Ranboo, Charlie and Sneeg, were posted along with the release date. They were designed and created by Kertoir^:8:21.

Trivia

• The photos that flash on screen prior to Ranboo's death are actual childhood photos of them^:23:54.

Differences from Episodes

• Episode 3 was renamed to "The Hero", and started as soon as Hetch regained control^:2:14:55.
• All of Hetch's voice lines were entirely re-dubbed, except for the existing cinematic scene^:10:45, to create a more uncanny feel^:25:17.
• Niki's carousel voice lines were re-dubbed due to a mic issue in the initial stream^:11:01.
• Ranboo's last words were rewritten to "thank you"^:54:24, which was originally planned to be said during the stream, however the box closed too fast, and they forgot to say it^:7:41.
