T_2: The Inauguration is an interactive video that was released on February 19, 2023. It features a multi-part sequence of videos guided by the viewer's decisions and served as an introduction to the interactive elements of Generation Loss.

Videos

T_2 consists of 12 videos, in seven of which the viewer has to choose between two options to answer a question. Selecting an incorrect answer redirects the viewer to the first video to try again.

Regardless of the viewer's choice, the answer is correct as the following two videos (Cats & Dogs) are identical.

Cats/Dogs

The image on the TV changes to purple static with the Generation Loss logo overlaid in red and text appears on the screen:

"Next evaluation", "Which is best", "Power or Wisdom?"

The correct response is Wisdom. If the viewer chooses Power, the incorrect option footage plays and the viewer is redirected to the initial video.

Wisdom

The correct response is Death. If the viewer chooses Life, the incorrect option footage plays and the viewer is redirected to the initial video.

Death

The image on the TV changes to footage showing a person tied to a chair struggling to get free, with their face obscured by a superimposed white square box. Text then appears, asking the viewer:

"You or them?"

The correct response is Them. If the viewer chooses You, the incorrect option footage plays and the viewer is redirected to the initial video.

Them

The square box turns black, and the person suddenly slumps over, lifeless. Text appears on the screen saying:

"Did you make sure you were alone?", "Yes or No?"

The correct response is Yes. If the viewer chooses No, the video shows an analog TV with black and red static as the following text is displayed:

"You should have", "Your input is no longer wanted"

The camera zooms out to reveal the entire analog TV with the Generation Loss symbol on the screen and a small logo sticker on the side. The purple static close-up then returns, and the following text appears continuously overlapping until the screen is covered:

"Try again", "Are you alone?", "Where are you?", "What is this place?", "Is it even worth it?", "Do you not understand?", "Who even are you?", "Do you think this is just a game?", "Who is this for?", "Do not hesitate", "You are not alone", "You are NEVER alone", "Go back NOW", and "TRY AGAIN (repeated six times)

The words "Try again" appear with a red background, and the viewer is redirected to the initial video.

Yes

"Good", "One final request"

The footage changes to purple static, and "Don't Look away" is displayed on the screen. The background becomes brighter and more static as ominous music plays and the Generation Loss logo appears on the screen. The logo gets brighter and appears to be glowing until it then disappears. Text on the screen then displays saying "Congratulations". It disappears and smaller text appears on the bottom right saying "Your failures have not forgotten".

Choosing an incorrect option

In response to choosing the incorrect option, (except for No), the selected video will show an analog TV with black and red static. In Power, the sentence "Wisdom becomes power" is displayed. In Life, the sentence "Optimism makes one naive" is displayed. In You, the sentence "Noble yet foolish" is displayed.

This sentence is then followed by "Your input is no longer wanted". The camera zooms out to reveal the entire analog TV with the Generation Loss symbol on the screen and a small logo sticker on the side. The purple static close-up then returns, and the following text appears continuously overlapping until the screen is covered:

"Try again", "You were not supposed to fail", "Think harder", "Try again", "Keep going", "Do you not understand?", "Think different", "Who even are you?", "Do you think this is just a game?", "This is not FUN", "Do not hesitate", "You are not alone", "You are NEVER alone", "Go back NOW", and "TRY AGAIN" (repeated over and over)

The words "Try again" appear with a red background, and the viewer is redirected to the initial video.
